Baglioni Hotel Luna Reopens

The Italian hotel group Baglioni Hotels & Resorts, and the architecture and interior design studio, Spagnulo & Partners have come together once again to restyle the iconic Baglioni Hotel Luna in Venice.

The Milan-based architecture and interior design studio, led by Federico Spagnulo, has joined forces with the Italian hotel Group who has designed a number of projects including the newly opened Baglioni Resort Sardinia.

The hotel is one of The Leading Hotels of the World, situated in a historic city building that boasts a centuries-old tradition of hospitality. As early as the 12th century, the Baglioni Hotel Luna building was home to a Knights Templar hostel, which makes the property one of the oldest hotels in Venice.

The restyling project aimed to capture its centuries-old history, whilst also combining the design features with its cultural exchange of the East to give the guests of the hotel the most luxurious experience possible. The renovation work of the hotel includes changes made to the public areas on the ground floor, the reception area, the lobby, the restaurant and bar, together with the new spa, which will be opening in the coming months.

The main feature of the renovation includes a brand new and exclusive spa. The spa will open in the coming months offering guests the chance to experience a variety of treatments, a sauna, steam baths and a unique relaxation area. The spa reflects the typical Venetian style because it has been enriched with classic fabric panels, bronzed glass inserts and tinted glass mosaics.
