The John Lewis department store is preparing for the holiday shopping season by opening Christmas Emporiums at ten of its locations.
The Christmas Emporiums will aim to bring a one-stop Christmas shopping experience and will also host in-store events, festive workshops and personalised gifting experiences. Furthermore, the retailer has opened Christmas shops across 25 stores as it revealed that searches for Christmas on johnlewis.com are up by nearly 40 per cent in comparison to the same period last year.
Lisa Cherry, Head of Christmas at John Lewis & Partners, commented: “Customers have had an elongated summer with restrictions lifting mid-way and wedding season starting later than usual but now they are certainly ready to start planning and looking forward to Christmas 2021. So this year we have created the Christmas Emporium bringing everything into one-stop-shop.”
The Christmas Emporiums can be found in John Lewis stores in Bluewater, Oxford Street, Peter Jones, Southampton, Trafford, Cribbs Causeway, Kingston, Cheadle, Milton Keynes and Newcastle.
