After being affected by the ongoing global pandemic, the Oasiz Madrid shopping centre will finally open on December 1.
The Oasiz Madrid shopping centre, formerly known as Open Sky, was initially meant to open in October however the global crisis and the repercussions of Covid-19 have pushed the opening back. The project is now set to launch at the beginning of December.
The commercial resort is located in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid and occupies an area of more than 90,000sq m, bringing together 4,000 parking spaces and 117 stores. Uniquely, the complex boasts a beach club of more than 6,000sq m, a complete range of restaurants, a gastronomic market, 11 state-of-the-art movie theatres, sports and leisure activities, performances and concerts.
Raphael Martin, President, Compagnie de Phalsbourg, commented: “We work hand in hand with our operators and with the aim of offering customers the best service and a complete range of leisure, gastronomy, relaxation and shopping, and for this reason we believe that the best option is set to open in September. We have had to face numerous unexpected difficulties and face continuous challenges due to the current context.”
