The hotel, which is Shangri-La’s fourth location in Shanghai, is situated on the banks of Huangpu River, the New Bund International Business District, dubbed the ‘Golden Boot.’
The 28-storey hotel offers a total of 585 guestrooms each complete with either a day bed of sofa bed, whilst 56 of the rooms offer a twin bed option. In addition, guestrooms are equipped with a filtered water dispense as part of Shangri-La Group’s initiative to reduce the use of disposable plastic products.
Local Shanghainese culture and natural green elements have been clearly woven into the hotel’s design to create a unique, reviving sensory experience. Alongside the guestrooms, the hotel is complete with 4 speciality restaurants and bars, a 2,000sq m wellness club, and 7,000sq m of meeting and event space.
QT Kitchen is the hotel’s All-Day Dining restaurant which features a line-up of stations serving tantalising delicacies from around the world. Shangri-La Jiangnan Wok is a Chinese restaurant where guests can enjoy Huaiyang Cuisine in an exceptionally luxurious setting. GardenLab, which is situated on the first floor, is a tranquil space that brings to mind a botanical garden. Finally, made up of several distinctive zones, QT Lounge is the perfect place to enjoy a selection of premium teas, coffees and home-made pastries.
