The digital-first beauty company is continuing its return to physical retail with the opening of a new flagship in West Hollywood, California.
The new LA flagship comes following the August opening of a Glossier store in Seattle and additional stores are scheduled to open in London and New York City next year. The new LA store has been designed by the company’s in-house creative team and is inspired by classic Hollywood studios. In keeping with this theme, the store features oversized props and amphitheatre style seating.
In addition the store has an outdoor destination called Glossier Alley situated adjacent to the main space. This will act as a community hub for locals and tourists to come together and create. According to the brand, its physical stores focus on more than just selling products but inviting customers to participate in a new kind of beauty experience.
The Glossier brand was founded in 2014 and the company has a line-up of around 40 basic products that span everything from skincare and make up to body and fragrance.
