The place to be in the city, Msheireb Downtown Doha is one of the most happening parts of Doha and is constantly pooping up with new restaurants and events.
The latest of these, Sumosan Doha, is a reason for Japanese food fans to rejoice with favourites like lobster salad, creamy spicy king crab, and salmon rice pizza making an appearance on the menu, as well as new dishes especially adapted for the city.
First opening in Moscow in 1997, Sumosan now has outlets across the globe in cities such as London, Dubai, Courchevel and Berlin.
Founder Janina Wolkow said, “To witness Sumosan evolve in this dynamic region is incredibly rewarding, we look forward to welcoming everyone.”
Sumosan Doha is located in the Al Baraha district of Msheireb, the largest open-air covered square in the Middle East, next to the Mandarin Oriental, Doha.
The space has been designed by London-based company Design LSM, and features a theatre kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work.
