Between the openings of new stores, ambitions displayed in the American market, the release of a ready-to-wear collection and the launch of its platform for reselling second-hand items XChange, the Swedish brand is ending the year with a bang.
In the fold of Eurazeo Brands for a year, the brand founded by Max Svärdh and Albin Johansson in 2014 announced a few days ago the upcoming launch of XChange, a new item resale platform (in partnership with the developer Reflaunt ) where customers of the brand will be able from 1 December to sell and buy second-hand Axel Arigato pairs. Products not sold after three months will be dispatched to second-hand marketplaces of the Reflaunt network such as Rebelle, Goat or Zalora.
“Our community is at the heart of everything we do, explains Albin Johansson, CEO and Co-Founder of the brand. With this Xchange platform, we can reconnect it to a new logic, that of buying better and buying smarter together.”
Born on the net, very active on social networks like Instagram (835,000 followers), follower of innovations – its principle of “drop of the week” allows to capture the attention of its consumers permanently, Axel Arigato realises via the various e-commerce platforms 85 per cent of its sales, a balance that Johansson wants to balance today by putting into action a global retail strategy.
