Abercrombie & Fitch Launches Hamburg Store

Abercrombie & Fitch are continuing their stationary revival on the German market. The opening of the American college label in the Mall of Berlin is now followed by a store in Hamburg.

The new shop is located in the Levantehaus in the heart of the Hanseatic city’s shopping district. The store is scheduled to open at the end of December and is based on the brand’s new prototype format, which includes an open concept and an omnichannel experience in a small area. Additional services include Click & Collect, “Order in Store” and “Reserve in Store”.

“We believe business matters and our new Levantehaus location is yet another example of our commitment to the EMEA market and our continued investment in and expansion of our physical retail locations around the world,” said Kristin Scott, Global Brand President at Abercrombie & Fitch Co.

The highlight at the Hanseatic location will be the art installation by an unspecified German photographer, which is inspired by the purpose of the Abercrombie brand to “make every day as extraordinary as a long weekend”. According to the brand, the photo collage was put together from Hamburg’s iconography, architecture and local sights in order to express the feeling of a long weekend in Hamburg from the perspective of a local.
