According to the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), the attraction will be part of its highly-anticipated and upcoming beach destination, Al Hira Beach.
Spearheaded by Shurooq, Al Hira Beach translates Sharjah’s position as one of the most family-friendly tourism destinations, as well as one of the most environmentally-friendly. The AED 87M beach destination project will be home to children’s playgrounds, restaurants and cafés. The project also aims to encourage social interaction and offer parents and children safe and world-class amenities.
The latest attraction to be announced is the KOTA Skatepark, formed through a partnership between Shurooq and Dakota Schuetz, also known as ‘Kota who is a 4-time world scooter rider champion. The skate park will feature different ramps for all capabilities and different roller sports such as skateboarding, roller skating, scootering and BMX.
Furthermore, the skatepark will also feature a special pump track around the outside of the attraction as a dedicated section for kids under complete safety regulations and measures.
