The London Resort Reveals New Opening Date

The new £2.5bn theme park project in the UK has unveiled its fantasy-themed land in a new image, whilst also revising the opening date from 2024 to 2025.

The new image, which was revealed on The London Resort’s official Twitter page, show an enormous castle complete with turrets, as well as a fire-breathing dragon and costumed characters. Furthermore, the resort also revealed that the park will now open to the public in 2025, a move that comes following a string of delays caused by the pandemic and their SSSI status.

The London Resort’s Chief Executive Officer PU Gerbeau, has confirmed that the project will continue as planned, saying: “To all the naysayers and doom-mongers, the London Resort is going ahead, as planned. We will be the first theme park across Europe to be built from scratch in nearly 30 years.”

In April last year, the resort’s dinosaur-themed land called Base Camp was revealed. This part of the resort will feature two coasters, roaming dinosaurs, dark rides and interactive dig sits, as well as dining and entertainment.
