The move comes as part of the brand’s plans to elevate its retail approach by immersing customers in different experiences.
The boutique-style store features a ‘Taste & Discover’ area where customers can explore and create their own coffee recipes by using iPad tutorials and Nespresso machines. Alongside this, augmented reality experiences allow customers to immerse themselves into the Nespresso story, the heritage of the company, the expertise behind the brand’s coffee and the knowledge of how capsules are recycled to give waste a second life.
Also housed at the store is the ‘Coffee is an Art’ masterclass where shoppers are able to learn about recipe creation and gain insight into the brand’s AAA Sustainable Quality Programme.
Guillaume Chesneau, Managing Director of Nespresso UK & ROI, said: “We strongly believe in the relevance of retail and recognise the important role that our boutiques play in delivering an elevated customer experience, working in tandem with other channels such as online. Our evolved boutique concept at Trinity Leeds will enable our customers to learn more about Nespresso blends, recipes, brewing methods and our commitment to sustainability.”
