Celebrating the Lunar New Year, the new artsy supermarket has been co-curated by local up and coming artists, Angel Hui and KC Wong.
The pop-up is inspired by the versatile and colourful displays in local supermarkets, a simple act that brings people joy whilst also serving their needs on a daily basis. The magical touches of Angel Hui, KC Wong and over 30 other local artists bring the ‘Art Supermarket’ to life. It showcases multiple mediums of artworks that have been influenced by pop culture, from art toys, sculptures, and paintings, to installation art, street art, lifestyle products, and much more.
In a move that brings the street art to life, the artists have condensed the dynamics of the famous Goldfish Street and Sneaker Street into chi K11 art space, along with an ocean of Lunar flags that are set to greet every visitor of the store.
The pop-up ‘supermarket’ is available from now until February 27.
