Velasca Opens in Naples

The digitally-native brand is expanding its physical retail footprint, opening the doors of its first store in the Neapolitan city.

The newly-opened boutique is situated in the setting of Palazzo Calabritto, in the San Ferdinando district just 800 metres from Piazza Plebiscito. Excitingly, the new store adds to the recent opening of a boutique in Velasca, also in Southern Italy, in Palermo.

Co-Foundes of the brand, Jacopo Sebastio and Enrico Casati, said: “We believe that the Southern Italy market is very promising and may experience a moment of exponential growth in the near future. The new workshop in Naples will be a fundamental piece in the broader growth plan that will lead us to expand our presence in other cities in the South to give lovers of beauty and handmade a physical experience to discover our shoes.”

The brand has already ‘conquered’ the north and the centre of the Peninsula with 9 stores in key cities such as Milan, Turin, Florence, Bologna and Rome. It has also expanded to major international cities including London, Paris and New York.
