Gucci Opens First Cocktail Bar in Florence

Called ‘Giardino 25’, the cocktail bar is preparing to open its doors in Florence on February 14 with the double G label inaugurating the location in Piazza della Signoria.

The venue will be open all day and is added to the Gucci Garden proposal, a creative and multidisciplinary space that was conceived by Creative Director, Alessandro Michele. The bar draws inspiration from the historic florist who once occupied the spaces, drawing on the colours and scents that characterise a flower shop.

With a double identity, Giardino 25 is a place to enjoy intimate daytime interludes and more lively evening events. This contrasting offer is reflected in the dishes on the menu which are prepared in the restaurant’s kitchen. Breakfast dishes include Italian pastries along with Japanese and Mexican inspired creations for a modern and international selection, whilst light fare is available for both lunch and dinner.

An Afternoon Tea proposal completes the menu with a selection of infusions and teas accompanied by sweet and savoury dishes. A particular tribute is aimed at the country’s culture of coffee with a choice of special brands, to be enjoyed in the form of espresso at the bar or in one of the local lounges.
