The new hotel will be located in the Sathorn district of Bangkok, an international area of the capital city that is home to many leading domestic and foreign companies and embassies.
The hotel will bring together 405 well-appointed guest rooms, each with a standard area of around 40sq m, 36 of these guest rooms are designed for longer stays. The hotel will also offer an all-day dining facility, a teppanyaki restaurant and a restaurant that serves general Japanese cuisine.
As well as this, there will be a rooftop bar on the 34th floor offering stunning panoramic views across Bangkok. Completing the offering will be an executive lounge, fitness centre, spa and banquet facilities that cater to both leisure and business guests.
The new hotel is the vision of Hotel Okura Group, a company that aims to establish itself in Asia as a top quality hotel group originating from Japan. Its basic strategy for overseas business development is promoting its ‘5×5’ plan, under which it intends to open five hotels in each of the five specific countries and regions.
