Soccer team Paris Saint-Germain has opened a flagship on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue. The new store is part of PSG’s long-term partnership with Fanatics and will be operated by Lids.
At 5,760sq ft, it is the largest PSG location outside of France and is the result of a 10-year global merchandising partnership deal Fanatics and PSG signed in 2020 that includes, among other things, opening retail stores. (Fanatics owns a 50 per cent ownership stake in Lids).
“The club is always pushing new boundaries and we are delighted to once again team up with our partners at Lids to expand its global retail presence in a key international market and help the club on its journey to becoming one of the most culturally relevant sports clubs and brands in the world,”said Zohar Ravid, Senior VP, Head of Global Corporate Development at Fanatics. Fanatics and Lids also teamed up to open the first PSG in Los Angeles, at Westfield Century City, last May.
The new flagship houses an extensive product assortment of team jerseys, headwear, accessories, with a full range of Nike and Jordan teamwear, one-of-a-kind collabs, fashion collections and New York-inspired Paris Saint-Germain.
