After the preview presentation of the collection in Venice in August last year, Dolce & Gabbana announces the opening of its first two boutiques in the world dedicated to the universe of furniture in Milan. The one in Corso Venezia 7 hosts the furnishing accessories of the collection: twill and duchesse cushions, printed quilts, mouth-blown Murano glass sets and Sicilian ceramic plates for a complete mise en place, scented candles and accessories in lacquered wood celebrate Italian craftsmanship of excellence and the art of living at home.
Covering an area of 1,218 square meters, the new store at number 7 of Corso Venezia stands out for the use of basalt, lava stone and a recurring element in the architectural solutions of the brand’s stores around the world. Volumes and spaces are contemporary and linear; the neutrality of white, black and gray of the environments make the creativity of the collection protagonists. The displays, made of black lacquered wood and glass, highlight the different themes of the collection: Sicilian Cart, Mediterranean Blue, Leopard and Zebra.
From fabric sofas to lacquered oak tables, up to accessorised bar furniture, the furnishings of the Casa line find space in the boutique in via Durini 23, created in partnership with Luxury Living Group, a company operating in the luxury furniture segment and lifestyle.
