The Trafford Centre has gained a welcome new addition today in the form of Manchester’s first H&M Home store.
While the Swedish retailer’s homeware collection – which includes furniture, decor and home accessories – was launched back in 2009, it has operated primarily through its website with high street shops being few and far between in cities such as London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds.
But as of last week, Manchester officially has its very own H&M Home store in the Trafford Centre. The new shop is the first of its kind in the UK and features an open façade with no windows, creating a ‘welcoming and modern shopping experience that celebrates style, creativity and culture’.
H&M Expansion Manager Chris Clare said on the new opening: “We are adding the extremely popular H&M Home concept to the Manchester shopping agenda, which we know is loved by those in the city and region.”
Toni Galli, Country Manager for H&M UK & Ireland added: “We are thrilled to have opened H&M Trafford Centre, and to be able to offer our customers a brand-new store, providing them with a modern and meaningful shopping experience.”
