Manchester will present its latest escape, inspired by the new generation of roller skaters, from underground Berlin to the sidewalks of Brooklyn and LA. Good Life Skates will be home to an inclusive melting pot for the skating and wider community, from accomplished skaters and beginners alike, to those who are simply here for the ride and fun try-outs. The 8,000-square-foot roller-skating rink will open to public from Wednesday 1st June 2022.
Located underneath the industrial roof of Depot Mayfield, Good Life Skates will be a remarkable destination in its own right – positioned in the sky, on the mezzanine level inside the inspiring urban landscape at Escape to Freight Island, guests at Good Life Skates will have a bird’s-eye view of the entertainment inside the bustling venue.
In addition to the exciting roller-skating rink, Good Life Skates will also present its own unique and special apparel collection, including high-quality hoodies, t-shirts and bucket hats. Completing the Good Life Skates experience, guests at the mezzanine can order food from Escape to Freight Island as usual, in addition to the exciting drinks offering – which is an accessible, colourful and vibrant non-alcoholic base cocktails menu where guests can top up with a spirit of their choosing. This playful concept is perfect for drinkers and non-drinkers alike.
Promoting the good life and a new world on wheels, Good Life Skates is set to be the city’s next hot destination this Summer. Perfect for individuals, groups, families and all – the new roller-skating rink is the perfect hangout for all parties’ purposes.
