Italian luxury fashion house Marni kicked off Marni Market pop-up tour in China and Japan earlier this month.
Taking place in China and Japan, Marni Market is showcasing Marni’s iconic bags, woollen cushions, chairs and other home decor items in the pop-up stores.
Marni Market pop-up stores welcome consumers with playful handmade items in a space full of colors and light inspired by geometric and futuristic contemporary art. Marni Market was launched in Nanjing and Guangzhou in China starting from 1 May and 15 May respectively and is held in Tokyo, Japan on 10 May and Osaka on 18 May.
New products and special editions of Marni Market basket bags will be launched separately in different Marni Markets on different days. Marni Market in Nanjing featured black and white basket bags, while rainbow basket bags will be released in Guangzhou station. In Japan, tote bags made with tatami, a Japanese traditional material, will be the focus for Japan’s Marni Market.
Fitting in with Marni Market, Marni pushed out an online campaign for consumers to purchase new releases after they launch in Marni Market. Special offers will be provided to online shoppers.
