The upcoming Football Park will have private butlers, chauffeur services and world-class restaurant pop-ups.
Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has unveiled its own football fan zone as the World Cup approaches. While others are largely focusing on affordability and scale, DIFC’s ‘The Football Park’ is positioned as a high-end experience, complete with butler services, high-end restaurant pop-ups and private lounges.
The Football Park will be held at the podium level of Gate Avenue, where pre-booked guests will have access to an exclusive outdoor hospitality area. Here, there will be restaurant pop-ups, butlers, a la carte menus and chauffeur services for those arriving and leaving. Organisers added that there will be “an option to watch games with a celebrity or former football player.”
The fan zone is a joint partnership between Art Dubai Group, a commercial public/private partnership that owns and operates some of the region’s most successful cultural events Hoko Agency, owns and operates a diverse portfolio of businesses within entertainment, sport and F&B.
Public areas will broadcast the matches and football fans will be able to drop by any time to watch the games on the big screens outdoors. There will also be a range of games, activities and events during the tournament.
Saleh Al Akrabi, Chief Executive Officer, DIFC Property Management, said: “As a leading urban destination, we are pleased to host The Football Park in collaboration with the Art Dubai Group and Hoko Agency, which are both well renowned for their programming and hospitality offerings. Through this event, we are excited to give visitors and corporate guests an opportunity to experience a truly unique and premium way to watch and be part of the world’s greatest football tournament. Along with our partners, we will ensure that The Football Park experience is as legendary as the game itself. We are working towards making this event the next best thing to the live, on-field experience.”
