Muji will continue to expand its Asian footprint with the launch of its first store in Macau that is set to open at The Venetian Macao in September.
The upcoming store will be spread over 21,000sq ft and it is being described by Muji as the biggest store in Hong Kong and Macau region. Laid out over two floors, the store has been designed with the brand’s “Nature and Modern Living” concept which is aimed at delivering Muji’s philosophy of “simplicity” and “without unnecessary features or decorations.”
Muji currently has over 1,050 stores globally, including 490 stores in Japan and 565 stores outside Japan. The brand started its footprint in Hong Kong and Mainland China in 2001 and 2005, it continues to expand its presence in other markets.
