The Ouest Paris pop-up store, with its jet-black storefront, opened its doors last week, in a nod to Fashion Week which enlivened the streets of the capital.
Raw concrete walls, black painted wooden floors, clothes racks lined with baggy jeans, skateboard sneakers… The atmosphere of the Ouest Paris pop-up store reflects the DNA of the young Parisian brand. Geographically inspired by his roots on the Basque coast and by the beaches of California, the designer Arthur Robert offers a city wardrobe mixing the codes of surfwear and workwear, between berruda shorts, overalls and strict coats in Loden (felt textile originating in Austria).
“Opening a pop-up in physics allowed us to see the reactions to our summer lookbook , to the materials and the fit,” explains the Founder of Ouest Paris, who spent the entire weekend in his brand new boutique. “This direct exchange with our customers was super interesting and it gave us an additional presence on the Parisian fashion scene. But obviously, developing wholesale and being exhibited in showrooms is a real opportunity for us, I like to think that our clientele is becoming more international.”
