The brand just reinforced its presence in Portugal with the opening of its fifth store in the national market and the first in Portugal with its new retail concept at Centro Commercial Colombo, in Lisbon.
Opened on 15 October, the new store is in line with the brand’s “The Future of American Sportswear” concept, which is inspired by its legacy and gives it “a contemporary twist”, Gant explains in a statement.
With an area of 164sq m, the new store features a design “inspired by mid-century American interiors, the Ivy League Campus and American icons” to provide a “physical experience of the brand’s personality, its American Sportswear culture and positioning the Gant and its rejuvenation”.
Martin Mattson, Managing Director of Gant for Southern Europe, underlines in a statement: “We are very proud to open yet another Gant store in Portugal, this time with our updated store concept in the prestigious Centro Colombo. This opening is a major milestone for the brand, both globally and locally, and we are really pleased with the development of the business in Portugal over the last few years.”
