Ferrari has unveiled its first-ever four-door, four-seater, the Purosangue, in Dubai and it debuted last month.
The Purosangue, named for the Italian word for a thoroughbred, is the Prancing Horse’s first four-seater car in its 75-year history.
The launch saw Giorgio Turri, General Manager of Ferrari Middle East, Dieter Knechtel, President Far East & Middle East and Emanuele Carando, Global Head of Product Marketing at Ferrari, unveiling the ground-breaking model.
The Purosangue later headed to Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, for special viewings at the first race of the Passione Ferrari Club Challenge Middle East 2022/2023 season. The car is powered by a 6.5-litre, 715-horsepower V-12 engine.
The manufacturer refuses to call it a SUV, insisting it is a sports car, designed from the ground up in true Prancing Horse tradition. The engine is mounted behind the front axle, rather than over it as with most SUVs and crossovers.
