American-inspired Cocktail Bar & Restaurant chain, Fridays is excited to announce the opening of its 86th UK Fridays restaurant in Barnsley, South Yorkshire on Wednesday, 16th November 2022.
Forming part of The Glass Works, a one-stop destination food and shopping centre, this vibrant Cocktail Bar & Restaurant will be ideally situated near Superbowl UK and Cineworld. It will provide the perfect place for guests to let their hair down and experience that Fridays Feeling every day of the week, enjoying delicious cocktails and amazing food
Spanning approx. 5,300 square feet, the site will have the iconic Fridays bar, a quintessential part of the brand’s heritage, at its centre where guests can meet, mingle and take in the atmosphere. Around it will be a spacious restaurant area, accommodating over 200 guests with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The new restaurant, which will look out over the striking new public square at the heart of The Glass Works, is creating 70 full and part-time jobs for people in the area.
Guests will also be able to make the most of a range of special offers, including 2-for-1 cocktails all day, every day, the new Festive Bottomless Brunch for £29.95 per person, and endless chicken wings for £15pp with £4 American Pilsner during sporting events (terms and conditions apply).
To celebrate this opening, Fridays Barnsley will be hosting a spectacular Christmas-themed, circus day on 26th November 2022 from 1pm – 4pm outside the restaurant, which will be open to the public and feature circus acts and fun activities for the whole family.
The news of the official opening follows the unveiling of Fridays’ latest above-the-line campaign – Show Your Stripes, with a series of adverts running across multiple digital channels which see the famous Fridays’ stripes evolve from a symbol of heritage to one of self-expression.
