Sticks’n’Sushi, White City is the group’s eighth restaurant in London and tenth restaurant across the UK and marks the 10-year anniversary of the restaurant group’s first opening the UK, continuing their measured and highly successful expansion over the decade.
Located at the main entrance of Westfield London, the new 120-cover restaurant is across two, beautifully designed floors, drawing inspiration from both Japanese minimalism and Danish hygge, known as Japandi, to create a warm and welcoming space. Views of the elegant open kitchen and bar greet diners as they enter the ground floor, whilst the first floor showcases a design inspired by domestic Scandinavian living with calming white clay-coloured walls and low seating.
With a focus on natural materials such as wood, stone, linen and leather, the Scandinavian design exudes a casual elegance, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and intimate dining experience, contrary to the bustling energy of the shopping centre outside.
The menu at Sticks’n’Sushi White City continues to serve the high-quality, fresh food for which the restaurant group is known, offering a unique combination of traditional sushi and yakitori sticks from the grill and retaining guest favourites such as the much-loved ‘Ebi Bites’ and popular ‘Hotate Kataifi’, made with scallops, miso aioli and trout roe.
Andreas Karlsson, Group CEO, says about the opening: “We are delighted to be able to open another restaurant where we can welcome new and loyal guests. This is a testament to our exceptional teams across the group who all contribute to our ongoing success. We are particularly proud to be able to create many more new jobs and opportunities for our employees.”
