Next year will see the launch of Donna Cyber Café in Dubai and it will have a lifelike robot modelled on the Eastern European model Diana Gabdullina as its cashier.
The robot supermodel is capable of holding conversations and will even be able to tell stories to customers. However, it is not yet clear if the robot will be able to receive feedback on cold coffee or give cake recommendations, despite the fact it will be capable of lifelike interactions and even detecting a customer’s emotions. Made by RDI Robotics, the café shop worker has silicone skin and realistic eyes.
The venue for the Donna Cyber Café has not yet been released, but it will be open 24/7 and have self-serve ice cream machines and coffee served by robot arms.
