Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo announces a new gastronomic restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac which is opening in spring 2023.
Chef Christophe Cussac has overseen the food and beverage offering at Hotel Metropole since 2004. After more than 30 years at the head of two-Michelin-starred establishments, the chef is taking on a new challenge, with the opening of his own gastronomic restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac, this spring.
Hotel Metropole has attracted the international elite since its opening in 1886. Its Belle Époque facade made it one of the most coveted establishments on the French Riviera. In the 1920s, the hotel opened the restaurant “Les Ambassadeurs”, which quickly became an emblematic address for French gastronomy. The great names of the aristocracy and diplomats from all over the world met there in search of refined luxury.
Chef Christophe Cussac was inspired by this story and has chosen to honour it with his new restaurant. The menu will offer contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, inspired by the chef’s own culinary heritage. The warm interiors have been redesigned by French architect and interior designer, Jacques Garcia, in which guests will be invited to rediscover the flavours of the Mediterranean channelled by the respect of French culinary art.
