In the heart of the historic city of Bath, JAQ at The Provenist is a new restaurant/café offering field-to-fork vegetarian fare with temping flavours from the Middle East, North Africa and the Mediterranean.
Executive Head Chef Jaq Brewer has given the restaurant a new vision with her expertly curated seasonal menus. Jaq trained under the watchful eye of restauranteur and friend Antonio Carluccio OBE, honing her craft to his high degree of culinary excellence, before founding her company Cook with Jaq in 2016. She has since worked as executive head chef at her eponymous restaurant Jaq at Ilford and regularly hosts supper clubs in Bath and London. Jaq has also worked creating recipes for the likes of Yotam Ottelenghi, Michel Roux Snr and Raymond Blanc.
JAQ at The Provenist is situated within the Neptune store in the Walcot area of Bath, providing customers the opportunity to enjoy wholesome, vegetarian food with authentic, locally-sourced ingredients.
Jaq Brewer commented: “I am excited to be working with Neptune as the new executive head chef at JAQ at The Provenist in Bath. It is a beautiful space and I’m passionate about bringing new flavours and authentic dishes to the area.
