The Argentine firm Wokka that specialises in large-size clothing continues to grow and plans to open its first physical store in the city of Buenos Aires this year.
Although they have not yet chosen the exact
location for the new site, the brand wants to expand after the boom it
experienced during the pandemic, when its online sales tripled thanks to
delivery and shipments nationwide.
Currently, Wokka has its own online store and a physical store in the town of
Olivos, province of Buenos Aires, specifically one block from the Unicenter
shopping centre, at number 3750 Paraná street.
“We didn’t do all the sizes because we saw a niche, we did it because our hearts ache if we have to tell you that ‘there isn’t one for you’. We simply couldn’t allow it, we were distressed and we understood that it couldn’t happen. For this reason, we never pay attention to the Law of Sizes since having all the options for us is important beyond legality, as well as the importance that a size S or size XL measure what they have to measure in centimetres and not only because of the size they put on the label and then it’s a lie”, said Johanna Laudani, Founder of Wokka.
