Annual Festival Hits Milestone

Dubai Food Festival (DFF), the region’s largest annual food festival, will begin on Friday 21 April. The event will run until Sunday 7 May. This is the festival’s 10th edition.

The citywide culinary celebration includes a packed programme which includes Dubai Restaurant Week, Foodie Experiences, Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen, and other events taking place throughout the city.

Dubai’s food scene has undergone a major transformation over the last decade, establishing the city as a global gastronomy hub, and attracting some of the world’s leading guides and awards, like Gault&Millau. The total number of restaurants in the city has more than doubled in the past decade, with over 13,000 in 2023, compared to approximately 5,500 in 2013.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), in celebration of the festival’s 10th edition, the 10 Dirham Dish will make its debut as participating restaurants and cafés will offer their classic and signature dishes for the set price throughout the festival. The full list of participating outlets can be found on Zomato for the festival period.
