Menswear brand Barcelona has opened a new exclusive brand outlet in Mahoba. The brand’s new address houses its full selection of men’s casual and formal wear and is designed to bolster its presence in Uttar Pradesh.
The new store is located on the ground floor of Mahoba’s BK Plaza in Bairang Nagar. The outlet has dedicated segments for shirts, t-shirts, formal wear and other seasonal separates. The store opened with a number of promotional offers for shoppers including buy one get two free, buy two get four free and buy three get seven free.
Earlier this month, Barcelona received a Rs 5 crore equity-free capital investment from GetVantage and plans to use the funding to fuel its brick-and-mortar expansion across India. The business is also gearing up to launch its initial public offering.
Barcelona currently counts over 130 exclusive brand outlets across India in over 70 cities and plans to open 50 new stores this financial year, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. The business was launched by Jaimin Gupta in Ahmedabad in 2015 and also runs a business-to-business wholesale app for retailers.
