Danish homewares store, Søstrene Grene, has announced it will be opening its first London store on Friday 12 May at Southside shopping centre in Wandsworth, marking it the retail chain’s first opening within the M25.
Joining a whole host of major retailers, the store is set to open at Southside Wandsworth just in time for summer and will join the brand’s eleven existing locations across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with the eleventh store at Cheltenham also opening very soon.
The Grand Opening will see an exciting giveaway for the store’s first 100 customers, who will receive a voucher for a free large, tufted rug worth £60 and a canvas goodie bag, filled with a selection of Søstrene Grene products. The voucher for the rug will be redeemable the following week. There will also be refreshments available and live classical music from a string quartet.
The brand’s signature labyrinth store layout and Nordic-inspired aesthetics will be making its way to Wandsworth as part of the business’ exciting expansion into London.
