The sports firm Adidas made an investment of two million dollars in Argentina in order to remodel its stores in the country and open new ones.
Specifically, the brand announced the inauguration of a new store inside the DOT Baires Shopping mall, which is the brand’s first store in Latin America that will focus on the new “Sportswear” category.
In addition, it undertook the remodelling of its stores in the River Plate Museum, in the city of Buenos Aires, the Shopping Portal Tucumán and the Patio Olmos, in the province of Córdoba.
The works required an investment of 500 million pesos and included the supply of merchandise, the purchase of furniture, the creation of new spaces and the incorporation of personnel.
“The changes were designed to improve the consumer experience and offer a greater variety of products for the lifestyle, training, running, outdoor and soccer categories,” the brand said in a statement.
“The investments in the stores are part of our growth plan in Argentina and a sign of the strong long-term commitment we have in Argentina. They are places with modern designs designed for the convenience of consumers. We are convinced that this is the way to continue growing and continue to be the sports footwear and clothing brand most chosen by Argentines,” said Pablo Lamo, CEO of Adidas Argentina.
