Golden Fork, UAE’s popular homegrown seafood chain, is set to roll out a massive expansion/rebranding exercise, which will see it open 20 new and designer outlets across the Emirates.
The 45-year-old fine dining chain known for signature dishes such as Cajun Seafood, Prawn Biryani, Goan Fish Curry and Fried Shrimp, has also struck an AED 10 million investment deal with a Dubai-based investment firm to fund its growth plans.
It will also shift gears to get into a franchisee model, which could also see the company entering into part stake sale deals with some of the prospective partners, to reach a wider customer base.
“Our expansion strategy will include a significant focus on rebranding as we aim to enhance our presence in shopping malls and identify areas with high footfalls,” Shanavas Mohammed, Partner, Golden Fork, told Arabian Business.
