Global sportswear brand, Nike, has signed for a 12,533sq ft unit at the South of England’s leading shopping park.

Nike is the newest brand to join the line-up at Castlepoint in Bournemouth after signing for a unit that includes a mezzanine level. It is the third new lease secured in recent weeks, following the arrival of Holland Barrett and the upsizing of Mountain Warehouse to their largest UK store – across 12,000sq ft – at the scheme.

Due to open in 2023, Nike Unite Castlepoint will be the home for sport value, and offer everything you need for all athletes in your crew.

This is an exciting time for the South of England’s largest shopping park, following its acquisition by new JV owners, funds of Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Delancey, last autumn.

Castlepoint is especially well-placed for a shopping park of its scale and prominence to further evolve in line with consumer demands and occupier requirements, with planning consents permitting further growth within the existing 36-acre footprint. A new asset management strategy is already bearing fruit with the improved tenant mix and plans are underway for capital expenditure to maximise the 684,000sq ft park’s potential.
