RARE Unveiled in Al Wasl

The menu includes a selection of premium ingredients, including bluefin akami tuna from Japan and wagyu sourced from Mayura Station in Australia.

Emirati-founded gourmet food truck, RARE, has opened in Dubai. This home-grown concept aims to redefine high-end dining by offering a fusion of Japanese and Latin American-inspired cuisine, on the go. RARE is the brainchild of three Emirati friends who shared a passion for food and a dream of introducing high-quality cuisine in an informal setting.

Co-Founder Mohammed Al Qasimi explains, “Our objective was to disrupt the conventional norms of upscale dining, providing individuals who crave exceptional gourmet meals with an exquisite dining experience without the constraints of dress codes and formalities typically associated with high-end establishments. By bringing an elevated dining experience to Dubai’s thriving food scene, we have created a truly rare and distinct epicurean encounter in a one-of-a-kind location.”

To bring their vision to life, they joined forces with Colombian chef Brando Moros, who has a keen interest in wood-fire grilling. Chef Moros has crafted a menu with Japanese influences with a touch of South America.
