Starbucks Thailand has celebrated its 25th anniversary and plans a significant expansion of its store network in the country.
The company intends to have 800 stores by 2030, including eight Community Stores, reinforcing its commitment to accelerating growth in one of Southeast Asia’s dynamic marketplaces and deepening close-knit ties with local communities.
Starbucks Thailand has grown to 456 locations in 25 years, with more than 4,300 partners and workers and more than 800,000 customers every week.
In addition, Starbucks Thailand is renovating its Reserve Chao Phraya Riverfront location in IconSiam to become the region’s second Starbucks Community Store, following the first one that opened in 2013 in the Langsuan neighbourhood of Bangkok.
The new store aims to deliver a “meaningful impact” on local communities through a profit-sharing business model. According to the brand, the venue strengthens its goal to open 1,000 Community Stores by 2030 globally.
