French luxury house Chanel is set to launch another pop-up store at The Shilla Jeju, its third time partnering with the hotel brand, multiple Korean media sources have reported.
Slated to open in November and running until June 2024, the pop-up boutique will feature a selection of Chanel bags, accessories and clothing. Chanel previously opened stores for limited periods at the Shilla Jeju in 2021 and 2022.
More recently, the luxury house mounted pop-up retail experiences in Hong Kong, where it showcased its ‘Codes Couleur’ beauty range until August, and in New York, where Chanel launched a pop-up restaurant inspired by classic American diners in September. Travel retailers such as the Shilla Duty Free have expressed optimism for Jeju’s tourism market.
