Anantara to Open Ras Al Khaimah’s First Overwater Villas

Located on Mina Al Arab Island in Ras Al Khaimah, the resort spans 1.5km of mangroves and lagoons within a natural reserve.

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, a new eco-luxury destination, is nearing completion and is set to open its doors in Q4 2023. This marks the ninth property under the brand in the UAE.

“We look forward to welcoming guests into sustainable luxury at the upcoming Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort. The stunning natural setting amid the mangroves, combined with the heartfelt service Anantara is known for, will provide guests with an unforgettable escape in this magnificent emirate,” Amir Golbarg, Senior Vice President of Minor Hotels Middle East and Africa said.

The resort boasts 174 guest rooms, suites, and villas, including the emirate’s first overwater villas, all constructed using eco-friendly materials such as sustainable wood and recycled fabrics and plastics. Sustainability is at the heart of the resort’s design, with greywater waste recycling, thermodynamics, and solar panels for water heating, along with a water bottling plant.

Guests can expect unparalleled views of the lagoon, sea, and surrounding landscapes from their balconies or terraces. Overwater villas offer a secluded private beach experience, complete with private beach cabanas and a la carte service.

The Anantara Spa will also feature treatments inspired by Arabian and Turkish culture, as well as a fully equipped fitness centre and outdoor pool with a sunken bar. Families will also find interconnecting rooms and extra beds to be ideal for their getaways.
