BJ’s Wholesale Club is getting ready to enter its 20th state as it continues to grow its footprint in the Southeast.
The membership warehouse club retailer will open a store in Madison, Alabama, on Friday, 10 November. The club is part of Town Madison, a mixed-use development close to Toyota Field. The new location, which also has an on-site BJ’s Gas, is the company’s 239th club and first-ever in the state of Alabama.
Local shoppers can join the new club with BJ’s limited-time founding member offer available through 9 November. From 10-12 November, BJ’s members will also be eligible to receive a digital coupon for a free fresh or frozen Butterball whole turkey when they spend $150 in the same transaction, in-club or online.
BJ’s is opening in Alabama as it continues to expand in Tennessee, where it will open its third location, in Goodlettsville, early next year.
“We’ve seen tremendous demand in Tennessee for the unbeatable value and member benefits our BJ’s model delivers and are thrilled to continue to bring BJ’s incredible savings to more families within the state,” said Bill Werner, Executive VP of Strategy and Development, BJ’s Wholesale Club.
