New Design Project “The Committee” Opens in Buenos Aires

In the heart of Palermo Soho, the epicentre of style in the city of Buenos Aires, a new clothing project opens under the name of The Committee.

Conceived by businesswoman Romina Pigretti, together with Manuela Calderón and Luciana Cucchi, this innovative space is proposed as a dynamic “hub” that fuses luxury, local and international design, circular fashion and specialty coffee.

With more than 13 national and international brands, The Committee stands as a collaborative space that seeks to promote innovation and generate synergies between emerging designers and entrepreneurs. The proposal includes various spaces, each with a unique identity: “Fashion”, with proposals from various designers; “Talent Lab”, a customisation workshop for students and emerging designers; “Custom 21”, its own brand of unique clothing; “Rent”, rental of party dresses; “Design”, gallery of guest designers and furniture; and a signature “Coffee”.

The selection of brands ranges from La Feliz, with furniture and lighting proposals, to Fueguia, with limited edition fragrances. Some brands present capsule collections designed exclusively for the space, while others participate with ephemeral “Pop-ups”.

Additionally, through its “Talent Lab”, it offers students the opportunity to intervene in their own products or remnants of brands, thus creating an “incubator” that links designers with companies from various creative industries.
