Italy’s Tod’s has opened their first-ever boutique in Thailand, opting for the country’s capital city, Bangkok, to make its debut.
Located at the Emporium, the new Tod’s Bangkok store spans 166sq m and is designed to reflect the codes of the luxury brand, alongside details unique to the city of Bangkok, seen in the green walls and leather shelves.
Inside, shoppers will find the full world of Tod’s including ready-to-wear collections, handbags, shoes and leather accessories. The new boutique highlights Tod’s iconic Di bag, with the location housing the exclusive customisation service ‘My Di Bag’, allowing clients to personalise their very own Di bag, through initials or a special lettering in selected colours.
The store officially opened with the ‘Italian Garden’ pop-up installation showcasing the latest spring collections and a cocktail event attended by esteemed guests, including the Italian Ambassador to Thailand and a host of celebrities such as Cris Horwang, Patricia Tanchanok Good and Ase Wang, among others.
Founded over a century ago as a small shoe factory in Casette D’Ete, Tod’s has since grown into a fully-fledged fashion house, with the launch of a full ready-to-wear women’s collection in 2013 and a full ready-to-wear wardrobe for men in 2014.
