Korean makeup artist JungSaemMool has opened her brand’s first worldwide flagship store in Singapore, which combines retail, academy and salon in one location.
Touted as Korea’s most influential celebrity make-up artist, Founder Jung Saem-mool specifically sought a heritage building for this special flagship. Before landing on her decision, she also considered shophouses in Keong Saik Road, Dempsey and Duxton.
Located on Scotts Road – off Orchard Road – the store has two levels, with the first floor housing the brand’s retail area and upcoming makeup lessons taught by JungSaemMool teachers. The store also contains M Space, which can be used for exhibitions, artist collaborations, or events.
A private JungSaemMool Salon is on the second level and provides haircuts, hairstyling and makeup treatments. JungSaemMool has also collaborated with numerous well-known figures in K-drama and K-pop, including Song Hye-kyo, Jun Ji-hyun, Kim Tae-hee, BoA and Lee Hyo-ri.
