Atelier Rebul Makes Indonesian Debut

The company is expanding its Asian retail footprint by launching in Indonesia this year – with planning underway to open a heritage store in Shanghai, China, next year.

Set to debut with two standalone outlets, the Turkish fragrance house has also secured deals with major department stores in the region, including Galerie Lafayette, Sogo and Seibu.

Nuket Filiba, Co-CEO of Atelier Rebul, told Cosmetics-Design Asia that the company is targeting other markets in Southeast Asia, in addition to Indonesia. “We want to invest in travel corridors,” he said. “Our presence in the Middle East has impacted Asia Pacific. We plan to open in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, but that takes time.”

Founded in 1895 by French pharmacist Jean Cesar Rebul as a Parisian-style apothecary, the brand is known for introducing cologne to Türkiye.
