Women’s ethnic and fusion wear brand Suta has opened a new brick-and-mortar store in Chennai, marking the tenth India exclusive outlet.
Located at The Croft, the outlet has dedicated product segments for kurta sets, dresses, viscose garments, sarees and blouses.
Jewellery also features in store with a wide range of fusion style pieces designed to complement the label’s apparel. With a minimalist yet natural style interior, the boutique’s stylistic focus is on Suta’s vibrant garments. The label’s latest collection ‘Atrangi’ also launched in store featuring technicolour sarees with patterned borders for everyday or occasion wear.
The brand has also forayed into menswear with the launch of its ‘Adam Me’ collection. Featuring breezy, earthy toned shirts and a similar fusion style aesthetic to its womenswear, the line is made from 100 per cent cotton.
Suta was launched by Suta, Sujata and Taniya Biswas with the aim of using traditional craft techniques to create modern, artisanal clothing and lifestyle goods.
