Roxy Leisure Holdings has announced a name change to Professionals at Play, creating a group brand for leading competitive socialising operators, Roxy Leisure and Pins Leisure.
The market leaders in multi-format competitive socialising, Roxy Leisure and Pins Leisure were founded by brothers Matt and Ben Jones and house the Roxy Ball Room, Roxy Lanes and King Pins brands, as well as new family-focused brand Star Pins, due to be launched later this year.
The rebrand to Professionals at Play has also been bolstered with a management restructure, with a new Chief Operating Officer appointed to take the group forward.
Former Managing Director of Pins Leisure, Colin Sadler has taken on the role after joining the business in 2023, leading on the expansion of the King Pins brand, which now operates across two sites in Manchester, with several more in the pipeline. Colin will oversee group operations, commercial, marketing and the people teams during the next phase of growth.
The first Star Pins venue is due to open in Coventry in November, offering ten pin bowling and other games including mini golf, darts, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, American pool, shooting and ping pong. The 32,000sq ft site will also include an arcade and full food and drink offer, featuring a desserts emporium.
