The hotel’s design draws inspiration from Baccarat’s crystal heritage, featuring a glass façade that aims to complement the city’s existing skyline.
Shamal Holding, a Dubai-based investment firm, has unveiled plans for the UAE’s first Baccarat Hotel, set to open in Downtown Dubai. The announcement marks a significant development in the city’s ultra-luxury hospitality sector.
The 145-key property will offer views of the Burj Khalifa. The hotel’s design draws inspiration from Baccarat’s crystal heritage, featuring a glass façade that aims to complement the city’s existing skyline.
Abdulla Binhabtoor, Chief Executive Officer, Shamal Holding said: “We are immensely proud to bring the first Baccarat Hotel to the UAE, offering discerning guests an opportunity to experience a brand that has set the global standard in luxury for over 250 years. Rooted in artistry and unparalleled craftsmanship, the property draws inspiration from Baccarat’s iconic crystal heritage, while the breathtaking setting in Downtown Dubai will complement its regal elegance.”
The development includes both hotel rooms and branded residences. Hotel accommodations will range from Classic King and Queen rooms to suites, while the residential component will offer two-to-four-bedroom furnished apartments and four penthouses.
Shamal Holding is developing the project in collaboration with H&H Development and SH Hotels & Resorts, the operator of Baccarat Hotels & Resorts. Studio Libeskind is responsible for the architectural design, with interiors by 1508 London.
