The Dutch perfume, cosmetics and wellness chain continues to its plan to consolidate its position in the Spanish market.
On Thursday, Rituals will open its new store in the Plaza Mar shopping centre in Alicante. This relocation is intended to position the brand in stores that improve the shopping experience, expand the sales space and ensure a better location to reach the firm’s customers.
The new space has a surface area of 191sq m, 130 of which are dedicated to sales. The premises have been decorated following the firm’s design line and with a clear focus on improving the customer experience. In the store, Rituals will sell all of Rituals’ collections, ranges and products, from its body and face products to its perfumes and hair care items, not forgetting its home line.
The opening is part of the firm’s expansion strategy in Spain. After having landed in the country for the first time in 2010, Rituals has continued to grow through its subsidiary Rituals Cosmetics Ibérica, with which it has operated throughout the Iberian Peninsula since 2016, with openings such as its latest openings in Madrid and Barcelona, last September.
Founded in 2000 in Amsterdam, the chain currently operates in 36 markets through a commercial network of more than 870 stores and 2,750 points of sale. In Spain and Portugal, Rituals has around 120 establishments.
